up-nod do's

1. Always maintain eye contact.
   

2. No more than a 10 degree nod. You are acknowledging, not looking for birds.

3. A slight eyebrow raise with a corresponding downturn of the corners of the mouth.is acceptable.

up-nod don'ts

1. Never smile, you are not looking for a date.

2. Nod only once, you are a man, not a bobble-head.

3. No words. Done properly the up-nod speaks volumes.

4. Never up-nod a woman, they just don't understand.
